Cinnamon Roll French Toast Roll-Ups

Sweet, creamy, and rolled up like little cinnamon treats—perfect for breakfast or brunch!

 Filling

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Mix everything until smooth and creamy. Set aside.

 Roll-Ups

  • 8 slices white sandwich bread (crusts removed)
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter (for cooking)

 Cinnamon Sugar Coating

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

 Instructions

  1. Prepare the bread
    Cut off the crusts and flatten each slice with a rolling pin.
  2. Fill & roll
    Spread a thin layer of the cream cheese filling on each slice. Roll tightly and set aside.
  3. Make the egg mixture
    In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cinnamon, and sugar.
  4. Cook
    Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
    Dip each roll-up into the egg mixture, then place seam-side down in the pan.
    Cook, turning gently, until golden brown on all sides (about 2–3 minutes total).
  5. Coat with cinnamon sugar
    Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Roll the warm roll-ups in the mixture until coated.

 Optional Toppings

  • Maple syrup
  • Honey
  • Powdered sugar
  • Fresh berries
