Cinnamon Roll French Toast Roll-Ups
Sweet, creamy, and rolled up like little cinnamon treats—perfect for breakfast or brunch!
Filling
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Mix everything until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
Roll-Ups
- 8 slices white sandwich bread (crusts removed)
- 2 large eggs
- ¼ cup milk
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter (for cooking)
Cinnamon Sugar Coating
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Prepare the bread
Cut off the crusts and flatten each slice with a rolling pin. - Fill & roll
Spread a thin layer of the cream cheese filling on each slice. Roll tightly and set aside. - Make the egg mixture
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cinnamon, and sugar. - Cook
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Dip each roll-up into the egg mixture, then place seam-side down in the pan.
Cook, turning gently, until golden brown on all sides (about 2–3 minutes total). - Coat with cinnamon sugar
Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Roll the warm roll-ups in the mixture until coated.
