Hamburger Green Bean Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound (450 g) ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz / 425 g) green beans, drained
  • 1 can (10.5 oz / 298 g) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 small onion, chopped (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup French fried onions (optional, for topping)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef, drained green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, chopped onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Assemble Casserole: Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Spread evenly.
  5. Bake: Bake uncovered in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until heated through and bubbly.
  6. Add Topping: If using, sprinkle French fried onions on top during the last 5 minutes of baking.
  7. Serve: Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
