 INGREDIENTS

For the Mac & Cheese

  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

For the BBQ Pulled Pork

  • 2 cups cooked pulled pork
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce

Optional Topping

  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS

Cook the Pasta

  • Cook elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente.
  • Drain and set aside.

Prepare the Pulled Pork

  • Warm the cooked pulled pork in a saucepan.
  • Add BBQ sauce and mix well.
  • Set aside.

 Make the Cheese Sauce

  • In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat.
  • Add flour and whisk to form a roux. Cook for 1–2 minutes.
  • Slowly whisk in milk until smooth.
  • Add mustard powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Cook until the sauce thickens.

 Add the Cheese

  • Lower the heat.
  • Add cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese.
  • Stir until fully melted and creamy.

 Combine Pasta & Sauce

  • Add cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce.
  • Stir until well coated.

 Add the Pulled Pork

  • Mix in the BBQ pulled pork evenly.

 Optional Baking Step

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Transfer mac and cheese to a baking dish.
  • Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top and drizzle with olive oil.
  • Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden and bubbly.
