Buffalo-Style Chicken Pizza Pockets
Spicy, cheesy, and perfectly crispy on the outside—these pizza pockets are a total game-changer for snacks, game night, or quick dinners
Ingredients
Filling
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- ½ cup Buffalo / wing-style sauce (adjust to taste)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella-style cheese
Dough
- 1 can pizza dough (or homemade)
- 1 tbsp flour (for dusting)
For Brushing (optional but recommended)
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning or dried oregano
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix the chicken with the Buffalo sauce until well coated.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and cut into squares or rectangles.
- Place a spoonful of the Buffalo chicken mixture in the center of each piece.
- Top with shredded mozzarella.
- Fold the dough over the filling to form pockets and seal the edges well (press with a fork).
- Place on the prepared tray.
- Mix melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning, then brush over the pockets.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, until golden brown and puffed.
- Let cool slightly… then enjoy that cheesy, spicy goodness
Tips & Variations
- Serve with ranch or blue cheese dip
- Add cream cheese to the filling for extra creaminess
- Make them air fryer–friendly: 180°C for 8–10 minutes
