Double Crunch Honey Garlic Chicken Breasts

Ingredients
For the Chicken
- 4 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs
- ¼ cup milk
- Vegetable oil, for frying
For the Honey Garlic Sauce
- ½ cup honey
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken
Cut each chicken breast lengthwise into 2–3 thinner pieces. Pat dry with paper towels. - Set Up Breading Station
- In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs with milk.
- Double Crunch Coating
Dip chicken into the flour mixture, then into the egg mixture, and back into the flour again. Press well to create a thick, crunchy coating. - Fry the Chicken
Heat about 1 inch of oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
Fry chicken pieces for 4–5 minutes per side, until golden brown and fully cooked.
Remove and place on paper towels. - Make the Honey Garlic Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, add honey, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, and butter.
Stir and bring to a gentle simmer.
Mix cornstarch with water and add to the sauce. Cook 1–2 minutes until thickened. - Combine
Drizzle the warm honey garlic sauce over the crispy chicken or toss lightly to coat.
