Chicken Bacon Alfredo Tortellini Bake
A rich, creamy, and comforting baked pasta dish loaded with cheesy tortellini, tender chicken, crispy bacon, and Alfredo sauce. Perfect for family dinners or gatherings!
Ingredients
- 1 lb cheese-filled tortellini (fresh or frozen)
- 2 cups cooked chicken, diced or shredded
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 cups Alfredo sauce (homemade or store-bought)
- 1 cup heavy cream (optional, for extra creaminess)
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Cook tortellini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil or butter and sauté the garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add cooked chicken, bacon, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt. Stir for 1–2 minutes.
- Pour in the Alfredo sauce (and heavy cream if using). Mix well and simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Add the cooked tortellini to the sauce and gently toss to coat.
- Transfer everything to the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan evenly on top.
- Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
