Reese’s Peanut Butter Cookies
Ingredients
Cookie Dough
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- ¾ cup brown sugar (packed)
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Add-ins
- 1 cup Reese’s peanut butter cups, chopped
(or Reese’s pieces if preferred)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Add egg and vanilla extract, mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped Reese’s gently.
- Scoop dough (about 1½ tablespoons each) onto baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are set and centers are still soft.
- Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Tips
- For extra softness: don’t overbake.
- For a bakery look: press a few Reese’s pieces on top right after baking.
- Store in an airtight container up to 5 days.
