 Honey Mustard Chicken

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
  • 4 chicken breasts or thighs (boneless, skinless)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Make the sauce:
    In a bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, paprika, black pepper, and salt.
  3. Prepare the chicken:
    Place chicken in a baking dish and pour the honey mustard sauce over it.
    Turn the chicken to coat well.
  4. Bake:
    Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
    Uncover and bake another 10–15 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and slightly caramelized.
  5. Serve:
    Spoon the sauce over the chicken and serve hot.

Optional Tips

  • For extra color, broil 2–3 minutes at the end
  • Add rosemary or thyme for more flavor
  • Works great with rice, potatoes, or roasted vegetables
