Garlic Butter Meatballs with Creamy Parmesan Sauce

 Ingredients

For the Meatballs

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)

For the Garlic Butter Parmesan Sauce

  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Salt, to taste
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

 Instructions

1. Make the Meatballs

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Mix gently until just combined.

Form into medium-sized meatballs.

2. Cook the Meatballs

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add meatballs and cook, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides and cooked through (about 8–10 minutes).
Remove meatballs from the skillet and set aside.

3. Prepare the Sauce

In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant (do not burn).

Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
Stir in Parmesan cheese and cook until the sauce thickens slightly.

Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder if using.

4. Combine

Return meatballs to the skillet.
Spoon sauce over them and simmer for 3–5 minutes until well coated.

5. Serve

Garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.

 Serving Suggestions

  • Serve over pasta, mashed potatoes, or rice
  • Great with garlic bread or steamed vegetables
  • For extra richness, add a splash of pasta water to the sauce
