Caramel Chocolate Crunch Bars
Ingredients:
– 2 cups crushed graham crackers (or similar biscuit)
– 1/2 cup melted butter
– 1 cup dark chocolate (melted)
– 1 cup caramel (ready-made or homemade)
– 1/2 cup chopped nuts (hazelnuts or almonds)
– 1/2 cup crunchy cornflakes
– Coarse salt (for garnish)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the base:
Mix crushed crackers with melted butter. Press into a square pan lined with parchment paper.
2. Add chocolate:
Pour melted chocolate over the base. Chill for 10 minutes.
3. Add caramel:
Pour caramel over chocolate. Sprinkle nuts and cornflakes.
4. Top with chocolate:
Pour remaining melted chocolate on top. Sprinkle coarse salt.
5. Chill and cut:
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Cut into squares and serve.
Tip:
Add extra chocolate chunks or sea salt for extra flavor!
