Made with tender egg noodles, savory seasoned ground beef, and a rich, creamy tomato–mushroom sauce, then topped with parmesan and baked until golden and bubbly. Simple, hearty, and always a crowd-pleaser!
Ingredients
- 12 oz medium egg noodles
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (10.5 oz) can condensed tomato soup
- 1 (10.5 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook the egg noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
- Add the chopped onion and garlic. Cook for 2–3 minutes until softened and fragrant. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Stir in the tomato soup, cream of mushroom soup, milk, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until well combined and creamy.
- Add the cooked noodles to the beef mixture and gently stir until everything is evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until hot, bubbly, and lightly golden on top.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
