Millionaire Magic Bars
A rich, indulgent layered dessert featuring a buttery graham cracker crust, gooey caramel filling, crunchy nuts, and a smooth chocolate topping. These bars are easy to make and absolutely irresistible—perfect for parties, holidays, or whenever you’re craving something sweet and decadent.
Ingredients
For the crust:
- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
For the filling:
- 1 can (14 oz / 400 g) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup caramel sauce (or dulce de leche)
- 1 cup chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts, or peanuts)
For the topping:
- 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Prepare the crust
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until well combined.
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased or parchment-lined 9×13-inch baking pan. - Add the filling
Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the crust.
Drizzle the caramel sauce on top, spreading gently.
Sprinkle the chopped nuts evenly over the caramel layer. - Bake
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the center is set. - Add chocolate topping
Remove the pan from the oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot surface.
Let sit for 2–3 minutes until melted, then spread smoothly with a spatula. - Cool & slice
Allow the bars to cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 1 hour before slicing into squares.
Serving & Storage Tips
- Cut with a sharp knife wiped clean between slices for neat edges.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 2 days or refrigerated for up to 1 week.
