Garbage Bread
The Ultimate Loaded Stuffed Bread (Crispy Outside, Cheesy Inside!)
Garbage Bread is a fun, over-the-top stuffed bread packed with meats, cheese, and veggies—all rolled up in pizza dough and baked until golden and irresistible. It’s called “garbage” because you can throw in just about anything you love! Perfect for game day, parties, or an easy dinner everyone will devour.
Ingredients
Dough
- 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Filling (customizable!)
- 1 cup cooked ground beef or Italian sausage
- ½ cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- ½ cup pepperoni slices (optional)
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- ½ cup cheddar or provolone cheese, shredded
- ½ cup mushrooms, finely chopped
- ½ cup bell peppers, diced
- ¼ cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Topping
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. - Prepare the filling
In a bowl, mix cooked meat, bacon, pepperoni, vegetables, cheeses, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. - Roll the dough
On a lightly floured surface, roll pizza dough into a large rectangle (about 12×16 inches). - Fill & roll
Spread the filling evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
Roll tightly lengthwise like a jelly roll, pinching seams and tucking in the ends. - Bake
Place seam-side down on the baking sheet. Brush with olive oil.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through. - Add garlic butter topping
Mix melted butter with garlic powder and parsley.
Brush over hot bread and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. - Slice & serve
Let rest 5 minutes, then slice and enjoy!
