Grilled Cheese Roll-Ups
Golden, crispy on the outside and irresistibly gooey on the inside, these Grilled Cheese Roll-Ups are a fun twist on the classic comfort food. Perfect for kids, parties, or an easy snack, they’re quick to make and dangerously delicious.
Ingredients
Bread
- 8–10 slices soft white sandwich bread, crusts removed
(Fresh, soft bread works best. Wonder Bread or similar brands roll easily without tearing. Soft whole wheat bread can also be used.)
Cheese
- 8–10 slices melting cheese, such as:
- Cheddar Cheese – sharp, tangy, and classic (medium or sharp recommended)
- American, mozzarella, Colby Jack, or Swiss also work well
For Cooking
- 2–3 tablespoons butter, melted (or softened)
- Optional: garlic powder or dried parsley for extra flavor
Instructions
- Flatten the Bread
Using a rolling pin, flatten each slice of bread until thin and flexible. - Add the Cheese
Place one slice of cheese on each flattened bread slice. Trim if needed so it fits neatly. - Roll It Up
Tightly roll the bread around the cheese, pressing gently to seal. - Butter the Roll-Ups
Brush the outside of each roll-up with melted butter. Sprinkle with garlic powder or parsley if desired. - Cook
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
Place roll-ups seam-side down and cook, turning occasionally, until golden brown on all sides and the cheese is fully melted (about 4–6 minutes). - Serve Warm
Remove from heat and serve immediately.
