Ingredients
- 12 oz (340 g) pasta (penne, fettuccine, or spaghetti)
- 1 lb (450 g) beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4–5 cloves garlic, minced

- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Salt, to taste
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup beef broth or pasta water
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook the pasta
Boil pasta in salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain. - Cook the beef
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef slices, season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Sear for 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove beef and set aside. - Make the garlic butter sauce
In the same skillet, lower heat to medium. Add butter and let it melt. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant (don’t burn). - Combine
Add beef back to the skillet. Pour in beef broth (or pasta water) and simmer for 1–2 minutes. - Add pasta
Toss cooked pasta into the skillet, mixing well until everything is coated in the garlic butter sauce. - Finish
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes (if using), and parsley. Adjust salt if needed.
Serving Tips
- Serve hot with extra Parmesan on top
- Pair with a simple green salad or garlic bread
