Cheesy Garlic Bread (Crispy, Buttery & Loaded with Cheese)
Description
This Cheesy Garlic Bread is golden, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and generously topped with melted cheese, garlic, and herbs. It’s the perfect appetizer, side dish, or snack for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 large loaf French bread or Italian bread (halved lengthwise)
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3–4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup shredded cheddar or Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano or Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon dried parsley (optional)
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the softened butter with minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
- Spread the garlic butter evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the bread, followed by cheddar or Parmesan.
- Sprinkle oregano and parsley on top.
- Place the bread on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
- For extra browning, broil for 1–2 minutes (watch closely).
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before slicing.
