10-Minute Comfort Food Pasta

Fast, creamy, and ridiculously satisfying — this is the kind of pasta you make when you need comfort now, not later. Ready in just 10 minutes and packed with cozy flavor!

 Ingredients

  • 8 oz (225 g) pasta (penne, rotini, or spaghetti)
  • 1 tbsp butter or olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup heavy cream (or cooking cream)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • Optional add-ins:
    • Red pepper flakes
    • Cooked chicken or sausage
    • Mushrooms or spinach
    • A splash of pasta water for extra creaminess

 Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in well-salted boiling water according to package instructions. Reserve ¼ cup pasta water, then drain.
  2. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant (don’t let it burn).
  3. Pour in cream, lower the heat, and let it warm for 1–2 minutes.
  4. Add Parmesan, stirring until melted and smooth.
  5. Toss in pasta, adding a splash of pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
  6. Season with salt, pepper, and any optional add-ins.
