A super easy, chocolatey, crunchy dessert with no oven needed. Perfect when you want something quick and delicious!

Ingredients

300 g plain tea biscuits (Marie / Petit Beurre / Digestive)
100 g unsalted butter
½ cup granulated sugar
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Pinch of salt
Optional add-ins:
Chopped nuts (walnuts, almonds, peanuts)
Shredded coconut
Chocolate chips
Raisins or dates

Instructions

Break the biscuits
Break the biscuits by hand into medium pieces (not powder). Set aside in a large bowl.
Prepare the chocolate sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, add:
Butter
Sugar
Cocoa powder
Milk
Salt
Stir continuously until the butter melts and the mixture becomes smooth.
Remove from heat and add vanilla if using.
Combine
Pour the warm chocolate mixture over the broken biscuits.
Add any optional ingredients you like.
Mix gently until everything is well coated.
Shape the cake
Line a loaf pan or bowl with plastic wrap or parchment paper.
Press the mixture firmly into the pan and smooth the top.
Chill
Refrigerate for 2–3 hours (or 30–40 minutes in the freezer) until firm.

Remove from the pan, slice, and enjoy!

Tips
