Taco Bell Nacho Frie
Ingredients:
– 2 large russet potatoes
– 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
– 1 teaspoon garlic powder
– 1 teaspoon onion powder
– 1/2 teaspoon paprika
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
– 1 cup nacho cheese sauce (see below for recipe)
– Optional toppings: diced tomatoes, jalapeños, salsa, sour cream, cilantro
Nacho Cheese Sauce:
– 2 tablespoons butter
– 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
– 1 cup milk
– 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
– 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
– 1 teaspoon paprika
– 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
– Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Cut potatoes into thin strips. Soak in cold water for 30 minutes. Drain and pat dry.
3. Toss potatoes with oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until crispy.
5. Serve with warm nacho cheese sauce and your favorite toppings!
