Honey Mustard Chicken
Ingredients
- ¼ cup Dijon mustard
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- 4 chicken breasts or thighs (boneless, skinless)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Make the sauce:
In a bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, paprika, black pepper, and salt. - Prepare the chicken:
Place chicken in a baking dish and pour the honey mustard sauce over it.
Turn the chicken to coat well. - Bake:
Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
Uncover and bake another 10–15 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and slightly caramelized. - Serve:
Spoon the sauce over the chicken and serve hot.
Optional Tips
- For extra color, broil 2–3 minutes at the end
- Add rosemary or thyme for more flavor
- Works great with rice, potatoes, or roasted vegetables
