Slow Cooker 5-Ingredient BBQ Beef Brisket

Ingredients:

  • 3–4 lb beef brisket
  • 1 ½ cups BBQ sauce
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions:

  1. Place the beef brisket in the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix BBQ sauce, onion soup mix, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce until well combined.
  3. Pour the sauce over the brisket, making sure it’s well coated.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 8–10 hours or HIGH for 4–5 hours, until the meat is very tender.
  5. Remove the brisket and let it rest 10 minutes. Slice or shred as desired.
  6. Spoon some of the sauce from the slow cooker over the meat before serving.

Serving suggestions 

  • Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or sandwich buns
  • Can be kept in the fridge up to 3 days
