Loaded Bacon Cheeseburger and Potato Bake

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 4–5 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
- 6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or Colby Jack cheese
- 1 cup milk or heavy cream
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp dried oregano (optional)
- Cooking spray or oil for greasing

- Ketchup or burger sauce
- Sour cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Add garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and oregano. Stir well and remove from heat.
- In a small saucepan, heat butter and milk (or cream) until warm.
- Layer half of the potato slices in the baking dish. Season lightly.
- Add half of the beef mixture, sprinkle with bacon, and top with cheese.
- Repeat layers with remaining potatoes, beef, bacon, and cheese.
- Pour the warm milk mixture evenly over the casserole.
- Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake uncovered for 15–20 minutes, until potatoes are tender and cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
