Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- ½ cup sour cream
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or melted butter
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish and place the raw chicken breasts inside.
Step 2: In a bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chicken broth, onion soup mix, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth.
Step 3: Pour the creamy mixture evenly over the chicken. Cover the baking dish with foil.
Step 4: Bake for 35–45 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
Remove the foil during the last 5–10 minutes if you would like the top to become lightly golden.
Serve the chicken with mashed potatoes, rice, noodles, or your favorite vegetables. Spoon plenty of the delicious creamy sauce over everything!
