Slow Cooker Ground Beef & Potato Stew

Ingredients
- 1½ pounds ground beef
- 5–6 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into bite-sized chunks
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can diced tomatoes, 14.5 ounces
- 1 can tomato sauce, 8 ounces
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon as it cooks. Drain any excess grease.
- Transfer the cooked ground beef to your slow cooker.
- Add the potatoes, chopped onion, and minced garlic.
- Pour in the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and beef broth.
- Add the Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, paprika, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
- Stir everything well until the ingredients are evenly combined.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the potatoes are tender and the flavors have come together.
- Give the stew a good stir before serving. Taste and add more salt or pepper if needed.
- Serve hot with warm crusty bread, biscuits, or your favorite side.
Helpful Tip
