EASY AIR FRYER STEAK

 EASY AIR FRYER STEAK

Juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned with a deliciously browned crust, this Easy Air Fryer Steak is one of the simplest ways to make a steak at home! No grill needed—just a few basic seasonings and your air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless steaks, about 1 inch thick
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Remove the steaks from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 20–30 minutes.
  2. Pat the steaks dry with paper towels. Brush both sides lightly with olive oil.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Rub the seasoning mixture generously over both sides of the steaks.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for about 3–5 minutes.
  6. Place the steaks in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook at 400°F for about 8–12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  7. Cooking time will depend on the thickness of the steaks and your preferred doneness. For the most accurate result, use a meat thermometer.
  8. During the last minute, place a small piece of butter on each steak and let it melt over the top.
  9. Remove the steaks and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing. This helps keep the juices inside.

Doneness Guide

  • Medium-rare: 130–135°F
  • Medium: 135–145°F
  • Medium-well: 145–155°F
  • Well-done: 155°F and above

Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, a fresh salad, or your favorite steakhouse sides.
