 Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated pizza dough (or crescent roll dough)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 20–25 slices pepperoni
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional, for brushing)
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • Grated Parmesan (optional, for topping)

 Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle.
  3. Spread the sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
  5. Add pepperoni slices, spreading them evenly across the dough.
  6. Starting from the long side, roll the dough tightly into a log.
  7. Using a sharp knife, slice into 1–1½ inch pieces.
  8. Place the rollups cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
  9. (Optional) Brush the tops lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning or garlic powder.
  10. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
  11. Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Sprinkle with Parmesan if desired.
