Loaded Pizza Spaghetti Bake
Pizza night meets pasta night in this cheesy, crowd-pleasing casserole! A spaghetti crust is layered with rich meat sauce, gooey mozzarella, pepperoni, and your favorite pizza toppings, then baked until hot, bubbly, and golden.
Ingredients
For the Spaghetti Base
- 1 lb spaghetti
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
For the Meat Sauce
- 1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 24 oz marinara or pizza sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
For the Pizza Toppings
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 20–25 pepperoni slices
- ½ cup sliced black olives
- ½ cup diced green bell pepper
- ¼ cup sliced mushrooms
- ¼ cup diced red onion
- ½ cup cooked sausage or crumbled bacon (optional)
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook the spaghetti according to the package directions until al dente. Drain well.
- In a large bowl, toss the hot spaghetti with the melted butter, Parmesan cheese, eggs, and Italian seasoning until evenly coated.
- Press the spaghetti mixture into the prepared baking dish to form an even crust.
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef or sausage with the onion over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess grease.
- Add the garlic, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Spread half of the mozzarella cheese over the spaghetti crust.
- Spoon the meat sauce evenly over the cheese.
- Top with the remaining mozzarella, pepperoni, olives, bell pepper, mushrooms, red onion, and any optional toppings.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and oregano.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden.
- Let the casserole rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
