10-Minute Comfort Food Pasta
Fast, creamy, and ridiculously satisfying — this is the kind of pasta you make when you need comfort now, not later. Ready in just 10 minutes and packed with cozy flavor!
Ingredients
- 8 oz (225 g) pasta (penne, rotini, or spaghetti)
- 1 tbsp butter or olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup heavy cream (or cooking cream)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- Optional add-ins:
- Red pepper flakes
- Cooked chicken or sausage
- Mushrooms or spinach
- A splash of pasta water for extra creaminess
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in well-salted boiling water according to package instructions. Reserve ¼ cup pasta water, then drain.
- Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant (don’t let it burn).
- Pour in cream, lower the heat, and let it warm for 1–2 minutes.
- Add Parmesan, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Toss in pasta, adding a splash of pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
- Season with salt, pepper, and any optional add-ins.
- Serve hot and enjoy your cozy bowl of happiness
Tip: Finish with extra Parmesan and cracked black pepper for restaurant-style comfort.
