Ingredients
- 1 can (8 oz / 226 g) refrigerated crescent roll dough, 8-count
- 1/3 cup (80 ml) thick pizza sauce, plus more for dipping
- 1 cup (115 g) shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese
- 24 small pepperoni slices
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet or baking dish with parchment paper, or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
2. Prepare the dough
Open the can of crescent roll dough and carefully separate it into 8 triangles along the perforated lines.
3. Add the filling
Spread about 1 teaspoon of pizza sauce over each triangle, leaving a small border around the edges. Sprinkle a little mozzarella cheese over the sauce, then top with 3 pepperoni slices on each piece.
4. Roll them up
Starting from the wide end of each triangle, gently roll the dough up toward the pointed end, tucking the filling inside as you go. Place each roll seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
5. Bake
Bake for 10 to 13 minutes, or until the croissant pizza rolls are puffed, golden brown, and the cheese is melted inside.
6. Serve
Let them cool for 2 to 3 minutes before serving. Serve warm with extra pizza sauce on the side for dipping.
Tips
- Add a sprinkle of Italian seasoning or garlic powder on top before baking for extra flavor.
- You can swap the pepperoni for cooked sausage, diced ham, or chopped veggies if you like.
- Make sure not to overfill them, or the cheese may leak out while baking.
- For an extra golden finish, brush the tops lightly with melted butter before baking.
Storage
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer for the best texture.
