Ingredients

  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus, trimmed
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into strips about 2 inches wide.
  3. Sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses evenly over the pastry strips.

  5. Place 2–3 asparagus spears diagonally across each strip of pastry.
  6. Roll the pastry around the asparagus, leaving the tips exposed.
  7. Arrange the rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
