Ingredients

  • Mozzarella string cheese sticks
  • Dill pickle juice (from a pickle jar)
  • A clean glass jar with a tight lid

Optional for extra flavor:

  • Fresh or dried dill
  • Sliced garlic
  • Chili flakes or whole chili

Instructions

  1. Place the string cheese sticks in the jar.
  2. Pour pickle juice over them until fully submerged.
  3. Add dill, garlic, or chili if using.
  4. Seal the jar and refrigerate.

Soaking Time

  • 24 hours: light tangy flavor
  • 3 days: perfectly balanced pickle taste
  • 5+ days: stronger pickle flavor, same great texture

Result

The cheese keeps its stretchy, chewy texture while absorbing a delicious dill-pickle tang all the way through. Enjoy cold as a snack, or serve with pickles and crackers.
