Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball using your hands. - Coat the Snowballs
Roll each truffle in powdered sugar or shredded coconut until fully coated. - Final Chill
Place the truffles back in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving.
Tips for Best Results
- Pat the cherries dry with paper towels to prevent excess moisture.
- If the mixture feels too soft, add a little more crushed wafers.
- For extra flavor, add ¼ teaspoon almond extract.
- Re-roll in powdered sugar just before serving for a fresh “snowy” look.
Serving & Storage
- Serve chilled for the best texture.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- These truffles also freeze well for up to 1 month.
