 Apple Pie Biscuits

 Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 1 can apple pie filling
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven
    Set your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a baking dish.
  2. Prepare apples
    Chop the apple slices from the filling into smaller pieces for easier stuffing.
  3. Flatten biscuits
    Take each biscuit and flatten it into a circle using your hands.
  4. Fill and seal
    Add a spoonful of apple filling to the center, then fold the dough around it and pinch to seal.
  5. Make the sauce
    In a bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla.
  6. Assemble
    Place the stuffed biscuits seam-side down in the baking dish. Pour the buttery cinnamon mixture over them.
  7. Bake
    Bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.

 Optional Glaze

Mix:

  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1–2 tablespoons milk
  • A splash of vanilla

Drizzle over warm biscuits for extra sweetness.

 Tips

  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream  for a dessert that tastes like mini apple pies.
  • You can add chopped walnuts or raisins for extra texture.
  • If you like it extra gooey, add a little caramel sauce before baking
