Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef (or ground turkey)
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced (optional)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp smoked paprika

- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 1–2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- 6–8 slices Texas toast (thick-cut garlic butter bread)
Instructions:
Prepare the Texas Toast
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place Texas toast slices on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes until golden and crispy.
