Instructions
Honey Garlic Pork Chops
1. Season the Pork Chops
Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
2. Sear the Pork
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and sear for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
3. Make the Sauce
Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the same skillet. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
4. Glaze the Pork
Stir in honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, thyme, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
5. Finish & Serve
Return the pork chops to the skillet and spoon the sauce over them until well coated and glossy. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Creamy Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes
1. Cook the Potatoes
Place the potatoes in a large pot, cover with salted water, and bring to a boil. Cook for 15–20 minutes or until fork-tender.
2. Mash & Cream
Drain well and mash while hot. Add butter, warm milk or cream, salt, pepper, and garlic powder if using.
3. Adjust Texture
Mash until smooth and creamy. Add more milk if needed for desired consistency.
Garlic Broccolini (Optional)
1. Blanch broccolini in salted boiling water for 2–3 minutes. Drain well.
2. Sauté in olive oil with garlic for 1–2 minutes.
3. Season with salt, pepper, and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
