Ingredients

  • 1 can (about 300 g) mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 cup whipped cream (or whipped topping)
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt (or cream cheese for a richer taste)
  • 2 tablespoons honey or powdered sugar (adjust to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons shredded coconut or crushed biscuits

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cream base
    • In a large bowl, combine the whipped cream and Greek yogurt (or cream cheese).
    • Add honey (or powdered sugar) and vanilla extract.
    • Mix until smooth, light, and fluffy.
  2. Add the mandarins
    • Gently fold in the drained mandarin oranges.
    • Be careful not to break them apart too much.
  3. Optional add-ins
    • Stir in shredded coconut or crushed biscuits for extra texture and flavor.
  4. Chill
    • Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes to let the flavors blend and the texture set.
  5. Serve
    • Spoon into bowls or dessert cups.
    • Garnish with extra mandarin pieces or a sprinkle of coconut if desired.

Tips

  • For a lighter version: use only Greek yogurt
  • For a richer version: use cream cheese instead of yogurt
  • Add a splash of lemon juice to balance the sweetness
