- Optional: Italian seasoning or red pepper flakes for extra flavor
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer
- Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and let it preheat for 3–5 minutes.
- Prepare the Texas toast
- Lay the garlic Texas toast slices on a clean surface.
- Spread about 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce evenly over each slice.
- Add cheese and toppings
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce (about 2 tablespoons per slice).
- Place pepperoni slices on top of the cheese. Add any additional toppings if desired.
- Optional: Sprinkle a pinch of Italian seasoning or red pepper flakes on top for extra flavor.
- Air fry the pizzas
- Carefully place 2–4 prepared slices in the air fryer basket, depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Cook for 6–8 minutes at 375°F (190°C), or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the toast is crispy.
- Serve
- Remove carefully from the air fryer with a spatula.
- Let cool for 1–2 minutes before slicing and serving.
Tips for Best Results
- Don’t overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if needed.
- For extra crispiness, brush a tiny bit of melted butter on the edges of the toast before adding toppings.
- Leftovers can be reheated in the air fryer for 2–3 minutes to restore crispiness.
