Slow Cooker Crack Chicken (Shredded Chicken Breasts)
INGREDIENTS
- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 8 ounces cream cheese, cut into chunks
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6 to 8 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1/2 cup chicken broth (optional, for extra creaminess)
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Add the chicken
Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker in a single layer. - Season
Sprinkle the ranch seasoning evenly over the chicken. - Add cream cheese
Place the cream cheese chunks on top of the chicken. - Cook
Cover and cook:- On LOW for 6 to 8 hours
- OR on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours
Until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
- Shred the chicken
Use two forks to shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker. - Mix everything
Stir well until creamy. Add shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon. Mix until everything is melted and combined. - Finish
Sprinkle chopped green onions on top if desired.

TIPS
- Use chicken thighs for a juicier result
- Do not overcook to avoid dry chicken
