Cheese Stuffed Flatbread
Ingredients:
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp yeast
- 1 cup warm milk
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp butter (for cooking)
- Fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions:
- Prepare the dough:
In a bowl, mix flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.
Add warm milk and olive oil, then mix until a soft dough forms. - Knead:
Knead the dough for 8–10 minutes until smooth.
Cover and let it rest for 1 hour until it doubles in size. - Shape:
Divide the dough into small balls.
Flatten each ball, add mozzarella cheese in the center, then close it and flatten again gently. - Cook:
Heat a pan on medium heat.
Cook each flatbread with a little butter for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crispy. - Serve:
Brush with butter and sprinkle parsley on top.
Serve hot so the cheese stays melty
Tips:
- You can add garlic or herbs for more flavor.
- Use any cheese you like (cheddar, kiri, etc.).
- Cook on low-medium heat to avoid burning.
