Creamy Beef Noodles Recipe

Ingredients

  • 12 oz egg noodles (or any noodles you like)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons cold water
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the egg noodles according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook for about 3 minutes until soft and translucent.
  3. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks.
  5. Pour in the beef broth and soy sauce. Add paprika, black pepper, onion powder, and salt. Stir well and let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and mix until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
  7. In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with cold water to make a slurry. Add it to the skillet and stir until the sauce thickens slightly.
  8. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss until the noodles are fully coated in the sauce.
  9. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the noodles and stir until melted and creamy.
  10. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
