Creamy Beef Noodles Recipe
Ingredients
- 12 oz egg noodles (or any noodles you like)
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons cold water
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the egg noodles according to the package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook for about 3 minutes until soft and translucent.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks.
- Pour in the beef broth and soy sauce. Add paprika, black pepper, onion powder, and salt. Stir well and let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream and mix until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
- In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with cold water to make a slurry. Add it to the skillet and stir until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss until the noodles are fully coated in the sauce.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the noodles and stir until melted and creamy.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
