Smoky Grilled Chicken Wings
Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken wings
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon chili powder (optional)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (optional)
- Juice of ½ lemon
Instructions
- Wash the chicken wings and pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a large bowl, mix olive oil, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, chili powder, honey, soy sauce, and lemon juice.
- Add the chicken wings to the bowl and mix well until they are fully coated with the marinade.
- Let the wings marinate for 30 minutes to 1 hour (longer for better flavor).
- Preheat the grill or oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Place the wings on the grill and cook for 20–25 minutes, turning occasionally until they are golden, smoky, and fully cooked.
- For extra flavor, brush them with a little BBQ sauce or honey during the last few minutes of cooking.

- French fries
- Fresh salad
- BBQ sauce or garlic mayo
