Cheesy Hamburger Potato Casserole

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- ½ cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook the beef
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook for about 2 minutes until softened. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Drain any excess grease. - Prepare the creamy sauce
In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup with the milk until smooth. - Layer the casserole

- Add half of the cooked beef mixture.
- Pour some of the soup mixture over the top.

Add the remaining potatoes, beef, soup mixture, and finish with the rest of the cheese. - Bake
Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 15–20 minutes until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is bubbly and golden. - Serve
Let the casserole rest for about 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
