Slow Cooker Creamy Beef Tips
A comforting slow-cooked dish made with tender beef tips simmered in a rich creamy mushroom sauce. It’s perfect served over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles for a hearty family meal.

Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef stew meat or beef tips
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 packet onion soup mix
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (optional but flavorful)
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ cup heavy cream (added at the end)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Brown the beef (optional but recommended)
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the beef tips for about 2–3 minutes on each side until lightly browned. This adds extra flavor. - Prepare the slow cooker
Place the browned beef tips into the slow cooker. - Add the sauce ingredients
Pour in the beef broth and cream of mushroom soup.
Add the onion soup mix, ranch seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic. Stir well. - Add vegetables
Add the sliced mushrooms and chopped onion and mix gently. - Slow cook
Cover and cook:- Low: 6–8 hours (best for very tender beef)
- High: 4–5 hours
- Make it creamy
About 15 minutes before serving, stir in the heavy cream to create a smooth, rich sauce. - Season and serve
Taste and adjust with salt and pepper. Garnish with parsley if desired.
