Honey Peach White Cheddar Sandwich
Ingredients
- 4 slices artisan bread (sourdough, ciabatta, or whole grain)
- 1 large ripe peach, thinly sliced
- 4 slices sharp white cheddar cheese
- 1–2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon butter (softened)
Instructions
- Prepare the bread
Lightly butter one side of each slice of bread. - Assemble the sandwich
Place 1 slice of cheddar on the unbuttered side of two bread slices.
Add thin peach slices evenly over the cheese.
Drizzle lightly with honey.
Top with another slice of cheddar, then cover with the remaining bread slices (buttered side facing out). - Cook
Heat a skillet over medium heat.
Place sandwiches in the pan and cook for 3–4 minutes per side, until golden brown and the cheese is melted. - Serve
Remove from heat, let rest for 1 minute, then slice and enjoy warm.
