Crabby Shrimp-Stuffed Garlic Bread Bombs
Delicious golden garlic bread stuffed with a creamy, savory shrimp and crab filling — perfect for parties, appetizers, or a fun dinner!
Ingredients:
- 1 loaf crusty Italian bread
- 1 pound fresh shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup lump crab meat (fresh or canned, drained)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Shrimp:
Finely chop the shrimp into small pieces. - Cook the Seafood:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add shrimp, salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook 3–4 minutes until shrimp turns pink.
Gently fold in the crab meat and cook 1 more minute. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. - Make the Filling:
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, mozzarella, parsley, and Italian seasoning.
Stir in the cooked shrimp and crab mixture until well combined. - Prepare the Bread:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Slice the loaf into thick sections without cutting all the way through (like a pull-apart loaf), or cut into individual rolls if preferred. - Stuff the Bread:
Carefully stuff the seafood mixture into each cut section.
Brush melted butter over the top and sprinkle with a little extra parsley if desired. - Bake:
Wrap loosely in foil and bake for 15 minutes.
Uncover and bake another 5–10 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly. - Serve:
Let cool slightly, then pull apart and enjoy warm!
