Hot Sausage Beer Cheese Dip
A warm, creamy, cheesy dip loaded with savory sausage and a hint of beer flavor — perfect for game day, parties, or cozy nights!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb hot ground sausage
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¾ cup beer (lager or light beer works best)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes (for extra heat)
Instructions:
- Cook the sausage
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until fully browned. Drain excess grease. - Add cream cheese
Reduce heat to low and stir in the softened cream cheese until melted and smooth. - Pour in beer
Slowly add the beer while stirring. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes to blend flavors. - Add shredded cheeses & seasonings
Stir in cheddar, mozzarella, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
Mix until fully melted and creamy. - Serve warm
Transfer to a serving bowl or small slow cooker to keep warm.

Crockpot Option:
Brown the sausage first, then add all ingredients to a slow cooker. Cook on LOW for 1–2 hours, stirring occasionally.
