 Hot Sausage Beer Cheese Dip

A warm, creamy, cheesy dip loaded with savory sausage and a hint of beer flavor — perfect for game day, parties, or cozy nights!

 Ingredients:

  • 1 lb hot ground sausage
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¾ cup beer (lager or light beer works best)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes (for extra heat)

 Instructions:

  1. Cook the sausage
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until fully browned. Drain excess grease.
  2. Add cream cheese
Reduce heat to low and stir in the softened cream cheese until melted and smooth.
  3. Pour in beer
Slowly add the beer while stirring. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes to blend flavors.
  4. Add shredded cheeses & seasonings
Stir in cheddar, mozzarella, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
Mix until fully melted and creamy.
  5. Serve warm
Transfer to a serving bowl or small slow cooker to keep warm.

Serving Ideas:

  • Tortilla chips
  • Pretzels
  • Toasted baguette slices
  • Crackers
  • Fresh veggies

Crockpot Option:

Brown the sausage first, then add all ingredients to a slow cooker. Cook on LOW for 1–2 hours, stirring occasionally.
