Swedish Meatballs (Easy & Quick)
A simple and creamy comfort meal made with frozen meatballs — perfect for busy days!
Ingredients:
- 1 package frozen Swedish meatballs
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup (or cream of mushroom soup)
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
- Cook the Meatballs:
Prepare the frozen Swedish meatballs according to the package instructions (oven or stovetop). - Make the Sauce:
In a large skillet or saucepan, combine:- Cream of chicken (or mushroom) soup
- Beef broth
- Worcestershire sauce
- Garlic powder
- Black pepper
Stir well and heat over medium until smooth and warm.
- Add Meatballs:
Add the cooked meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally. - Finish with Sour Cream:
Reduce heat to low and stir in the sour cream. Mix until creamy and heated through (do not boil).
Serve With:
- Egg noodles
- Mashed potatoes
- Rice
- Or crusty bread
