Cheesy Beef & Jalapeño Pizza
A flavorful homemade pizza topped with seasoned ground beef, melted mozzarella and cheddar cheese, and finished with fresh jalapeños, tomatoes, and red onions.
Ingredients
For the Dough
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 packet (2 ¼ teaspoons) instant yeast
- ¾–1 cup warm water
For the Toppings
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 small red onion, diced
- 1 small tomato, diced
- 1–2 fresh jalapeños, sliced
Instructions
Prepare the Dough
In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix and knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Cook the Beef
Heat a pan over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
Drain excess fat.
Season with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
Cook for 2 more minutes, then remove from heat.
Assemble the Pizza
Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).
Roll out the dough into a circle and place it on a baking tray.
Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough.
Add the cooked beef evenly.
Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese generously on top.
Bake
Bake for 12–15 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Add Fresh Toppings
Remove from the oven and top with diced red onion, tomato, and sliced jalapeños.
Slice and serve hot.
