Creamy Tomatillo Jalapeño Avocado Salsa
Ingredients:
- 2 jalapeños
- ¼ white onion
- 7 medium tomatillos
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 cup fresh cilantro
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 ripe avocado
Instructions:
Boil the aromatics:
In a saucepan, add the tomatillos, jalapeños, onion, and garlic.
Cover with water and bring to a boil. Cook for about 8–10 minutes, until softened.
- Drain well and let them cool slightly.
- Blend everything:
Add the boiled tomatillos, jalapeños, onion, garlic, cilantro, salt, pepper, and avocado to a blender. - Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust salt if needed.

- Sandwiches or wraps
For a thinner consistency, add 1–2 tablespoons of the reserved boiling water while blending.
