Cheesy Salsa Beef Bake

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 large green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 large jars Tostitos Salsa
  • 1 small jar Ragu Traditional Sauce
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
  • 1 bag tortilla chips (or cooked pasta if preferred)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. Add chopped onion and green pepper to the skillet. Cook for 5–7 minutes until softened.
  4. Stir in onion powder and garlic powder.
  5. Pour in both jars of Tostitos salsa and the small jar of Ragu sauce. Mix well and let simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. In a baking dish, spread a layer of tortilla chips (or cooked pasta).
  7. Pour the beef mixture evenly over the chips.
  8. Top with shredded cheese.
  9. Bake uncovered for 15–20 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Optional Toppings:

  • Sour cream
  • Sliced jalapeños
  • Chopped fresh cilantro
  • Diced tomatoes

This dish is perfect for family dinner, game night, or potluck
