Cheesy Salsa Beef Bake
Ingredients:
- 1.5 pounds ground beef
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 large green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 large jars Tostitos Salsa
- 1 small jar Ragu Traditional Sauce
- 2 cups shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
- 1 bag tortilla chips (or cooked pasta if preferred)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Add chopped onion and green pepper to the skillet. Cook for 5–7 minutes until softened.
- Stir in onion powder and garlic powder.
- Pour in both jars of Tostitos salsa and the small jar of Ragu sauce. Mix well and let simmer for 10 minutes.
- In a baking dish, spread a layer of tortilla chips (or cooked pasta).
- Pour the beef mixture evenly over the chips.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 15–20 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

- Diced tomatoes
